Oak Harbor, Wa. Mustang Story:In high school way back when, I
had lots of friends that had mustangs, some stock, some hot-rodded.
I wanted one real bad. I had the money and was on the hunt. I
found one in my senior year of high school, it seemed like a good deal
$2500.00 for 65 with a hi-po 289. I called the guy to say that I would take the car,
and well he had sold it to his brother-in-law an hour before I called
him. So much for that. The car had to wait. I was not in
a good situation to buy another one till much later in my life. I
finally found a good deal, Jan of 2006. A bone stock 1967 coupe,
burnt amber in color, with saddle interior. I had big plans for the
car, and it is a continuing project.
